On October 20, 2020, PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC) officially expanded its brand name from "Dam Ca Mau" to "Ca Mau Fertilizer". This is a breakthrough transformation of PVCFC, and once again PVCFC affirms its brand position in the fertilizer market in Vietnam and the region, positioning a steady step towards new visions and values in the future.
Established in 2011, PVCFC is proud to be the leading and only producer of granular urea in Vietnam. After 5 years of operation, the product “Dam Ca Mau - Hat ngoc mua vang” has become the number 1 choice for farmers in the Mekong Delta, as well as being used more and more widely in other areas in the domestic market. Not only that, the Dam Ca Mau brand continues to expand to foreign markets such as Cambodia, Philippines, Thailand, Bangladesh, etc., and also to fastidious markets such as Japan, Korea and Brazil. With a clear strategic direction and development goal, the brand “Dam Ca Mau - Hat ngoc mua vang” has gradually affirmed its position in Vietnam and the region, made an important contribution to stabilizing the fertilizer market and ensured national food security. In terms of brand identity, the logo group of Ca Mau Fertilizer retains the entire symbol and only changes the name in the logo from “Dam Ca Mau” to “Ca Mau Fertilizer”. However, there is still inheritance and development in the symbolic meaning of the logo: Based on the harmonious relationship of Plants - Soil - Nature forming a sustainable and close Heaven - Earth - Human structure and showing the deep connection between Ca Mau Fertilizer and farmers, rural areas and agriculture to continue to develop strongly towards sustainable agriculture. The meaningful logo is an integral part of the brand story to spread the mission of Ca Mau Fertilizer to provide comprehensive crop nutrition solutions and provide necessary values to farmers. Regarding the slogan, “Hat ngoc mua vang” continues to be used with an open and impressive brand story about the mission to bring “thousands of Gold Fields” of value to Vietnam's agriculture thanks to the range of quality Ca Mau Fertilizer products like colorful “pearls”.
The year 2020 posed difficult to overcome challenges for businesses in general and Ca Mau Fertilizer in particular.
