Acting on behalf of the leaders, officials and employees of Vietnam Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, General Director of Petrovietnam Le Manh Hung donated the above sum to Covid-19 Vaccine Fund. In which, the parent company - Vietnam Oil and Gas Group donated VND 10 billion; Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) donated VND 10 billion; Vietsovpetro donated 5 billion dong; Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) donated VND 5 billion; Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation (PV Power) donated VND 5 billion, PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) donated VND 5 billion, PetroVietnam Transportation Corporation (PVTrans) donated VND 5 billion and Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC) donated VND 5 billion. Petrovietnam is also calling for its affiliates to continue supporting Covid-19 Vaccine Fund.

General Director Le Manh Hung shared, with his responsibilities, over the past time, Petrovietnam has joined hands and contributed, together with ministries, branches, functional agencies, organizations, enterprises in Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control, with the highest goal of keeping the environment safe for the people. This is the next time, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group’s employees work with the Ministry of Health, sectors and localities in Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control activities and the implementation of the vaccination program. General Director Le Manh Hung hopes that Vietnam Oil and Gas Group’s employees will contribute a part, together with the Ministry of Health, branches, functional agencies and people nationwide to join hands to fight the epidemic.

The General Director of Petrovietnam also thanked the medical forces, functional sectors, and organizations, individuals, businesses and people for their participation in Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control activities over the past time, maintaining a stable environment for enterprises, including Petrovietnam to operate safely and effectively.

Since the outbreak of Covid-19 epidemic again (April 27, 2021), Petrovietnam and its affiliates have donated tens of billions of Vietnamese dong and in kind for the health sector and localities on the front lines of the fight against Covid-19 epidemic. At the same time, to protect the health of 56,000 Vietnam Oil and Gas Group’s employees due to the outbreak of Covid-19 epidemic, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group has donated affiliates with VND 2.8 billion to buy supplies and necessities for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control. Petrovietnam has also implemented a series of proactive measures such as: activating emergency situations in disease prevention and control, rehearsing F0 appearance plan, Screening tests for employees, workers and especially conducting the first round of Covid-19 vaccination for employees.

In the coming time, Petrovietnam and its affiliates will actively coordinate with ministries, sectors and medical facilities to continue to deploy Covid-19 vaccination for all employees in Vietnam Oil and Gas Group. Thus, from 2020 until now, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group’s employees have joined hands, contributed and donated Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control with a total amount of over VND 100 billion.
