PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC, HOSE: DCM) has just completed the overall maintenance at 10 pm on November 22, 2021, one day earlier than planned. Lots of high-quality commercial products are also packaged and shipped in time to serve farmers when this is still the peak of the winter-spring crop.
Despite the context of high market demand and the Covid-19 pandemic heavily affecting the Mekong Delta provinces, with the proactive preparation, the ability to mobilize reasonable supplies and a highly determined team, the maintenance has been completed earlier than expected.
All 1,729 large and small items have been inspected, maintained, and serviced in safe conditions, on schedule, and achieved outstanding performance after maintenance.
This is the 9th maintenance period since the plant going into operation. Despite obstacles during the peak of the pandemic, difficulties in mobilizing human resources, materials and equipment, with the spirit of upholding human safety and pandemic prevention, strictly implementing the 5K rule, measures to create many tight control loops, so all work went smoothly and successfully. For the second time since last year, the whole team has promoted technology mastery, creation and pioneering to be self-reliant without hiring a team of support experts. PVCFC engineers have completed the key goals in terms of safety, work quality, economic efficiency and completion schedule. This is an important basis for the plant to continue to operate at its best after maintenance.
As of November 24, the plant has completed handling the final backlog points of the overall maintenance process and increased the plant’s load to 110-112% of capacity. Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant completed the scheduled maintenance, returned to production, and maintained capacity after contributing to ensuring supply for the market in the context of a sharp increase in fertilizer demand due to entering the peak cultivation and fertilization of the winter-spring crop - one of the important crops of the year. Along with 300,000 tons of products of all kinds prepared before maintenance, the first batches of commercial products after maintenance were also timely shipped to customers.
Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant has also prepared a plan to distribute widely and moderately to key farming areas that are in season.
