After 04 months of implementation, PVCFC Eureka 2020 has ended successfully and honored with awards. There are 3 best teams and 15 individuals out of thousands of ideas submitted to the contest, affirming and spreading more strongly the creative passion and tireless dedication of the employees of PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC).
The joy of "I've found it!"
PVCFC's 10-year journey of construction and development is also a long story about people who love their job, strive to learn, and are passionate about innovation. The working environment is open and friendly, leaders are always interested in encouraging, colleagues are sharing and emulating healthy. That is a great motivation for the team to enthusiastically show their ability, think freely, and serve as the foundation for many breakthrough and non-stop spreading ideas.
It is quite interesting that the ideas of PVCFC employees do not come when they are highly focused, or need for maximum quietness like "tear their hair out", however, their ideas almost exploded into cheers of "eureka", while they were "talking" with friends, through comfortable discussions on the sidelines, through working trips together in the market or on the maintenance site or outside the loading port.
The PVCFC Eureka Award was born from that inspiration and has spread strongly to this day. In 2020, due to the impact of the pandemic, the organization was changed to online form, but that did not reduce the heat and attractiveness of the contest.
Through the Eoffice Initiative Management module, users can register ideas anytime, anywhere with simple and fast operation, saving time and without affecting their work. Especially in the complicated period of Covid-19 when the Company strictly followed the 5K rule and the distance directive, the software has promoted outstanding efficiency, helping to limit contact between individuals and units.
Out of 2,974 ideas submitted, more than half made it to round 1. The diversity in many categories, richness in content and high applicability made it quite difficult for the Organizing Committee to consider and select the 56 most recognized individual ideas. Among 52 outstanding ideas to move on to round 2, PVCFC Eureka 2020 selected 15 outstanding ideas into the final round.
By satisfying the criteria of breakthrough - high application - feasibility, 3 teams and 15 individuals have excellently overcame dozens of formidable competitors to win the highest awards. The Control Workshop, the Auxiliary Workshop, and the Technical and Maintenance Department were ranked first, second, and third, respectively. In the individual category, the highest position belongs to Mr. Le Van Nguyen with "Designing an online dust cleaning system for the granulation cluster for continuous operation", 03 second prizes, 03 third prizes and 8 consolation prizes all registered themselves with unique ideas that contributed to improving the operational efficiency and safety of equipment of Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant. All are aimed at optimizing production capacity, effectively reducing costs for the Company. The detailed list of awards is posted on the PVCFC website and the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group's fanpage.
Infinite creativity is a precious reward
PVCFC Eureka 2020 has ended. More than two thousand ideas are as many useful opportunities. Depending on the level and different professional angle, each idea plays a certain role in the work, contributes to the great creative power, is a part of a good cultural identity on the journey to reach of Ca Mau Fertilizer.
Not just a contest or a traditional movement for many years, PVCFC Eureka has created a meaningful playground, a destination for souls who are passionate about creativity, love their job, are eager to learn and are not afraid to break through themselves. In addition to the time focusing on work, when meeting for a cup of tea, sharing expertise becomes a source of inspiration for many useful ideas.
During the evaluation process, the Jury - Science and Technology Council was surprised by many bright and bold ideas, as well as nominations in the application implementation and registration for the Science & Technology Task 2022. The amount of rewards is limited, but the passion for creativity is limitless in the Ca Mau Fertilizer team. Even though the contest took place in difficult conditions, and the pandemic prevented research and experimentation, etc., the enthusiasm and liveliness did not decrease, but motivates the determination to conquer the goal.
With the winner, PVCFC Eureka 2020 is a launching pad to bring members further on the path of scientific research, improve work efficiency with smart solutions, and become an example for the team and the pride of relatives and family. With thousands of other people, the movement still has the motivation for them to strive more, because the passion for the passion for creation will not stop.
